In my last blog, I ended with the expression ¡Pura Vida! I am a native from Costa Rica and in our beautiful country everything is ¡Pura Vida! (pure life). We are a country of happy, cordial, and outgoing people and the expression ¡Pura Vida! is used to express our very essence. ¡Pura Vida! is the answer to a million questions; for example,
¿Cómo está?: How are you?
¿Qué me cuenta?: What's going on?
¿Cómo le fue en el viaje?: How was your trip?
¿Cómo estuvo la fiesta?: How was the party?
etc.
