El Verano (Summer)

We have been having fun in our Spanish classes learning about Summer activities. Our units have included vocabulary about the beach (la playa), the lake (el lago), el cuatro de julio (Fourth of July), la feria del agricultor (farmer's market), and we have enjoyed a day of cooking "en la barbacoa" (barbecue) some "perros calientes y malvaviscos" (hot dogs and marshmallows) We've also jumped rope while learning our vocabulary, played charades, hop-skotch, and have song many songs. ¡Qué disfruten del verano! (Enjoy summer!)
